I would like to remind the students dressed in an
appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:
- No dresses
for the girls
- No jeans
- No crocks
- No sandals
- No boots
Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing
will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.
P.E. CLASS THIS WEEK
The
season is getting hotter! It is recommended for the students to wear sunblock
and always have their water bottle with them.
Sixth Grade
This week we will focus on
the muscular development, we are going to use a circuit, with different
exercises for specific parts of the body, such as pushups, racing jumps, and squats.
At same time, we will work on strength with obstacle courses.
Seventh
and eighth Grade
This week the class will
be focused on determining the physical condition of the students. Using a
standard evaluation chart considering age and gender each student. Results will
be explained to students and we will continue to develop a personal physical
training plan.
Ninth
to Eleventh Grade
This week we will be
showing students how to used different devices to monitor physical activity.
The students will understand which device to choose according the specific
training they do. The students will be encourage the use of these devices to
control improve and monitor their progress. Some of the devices are the
pedometer and heart rate monitor.
The
school is currently organizing three important upcoming events. The DPTO
FUN RUN AND OLYMPIC GAMES and a school BINGO are
being put together to raise funds towards buying TECHNOLOGY for
the school The DPTO is also organizing their annual GARAGE SALE.
