As you all know, this will be a short week due to the celebration of our day of Independence, and given the fact, that many activities are going to take place on Thursday (which is a half day of school), I will use Tuesday and Wednesday to show students the traditional games that are going to take place on Thursday; so all of them can get familiarized with these games.

This brief interruption to the P.E. program for this week (baseball skills and the game rules) , shall not be taken slightly, students will be evaluated as always, for their participation and using the proper sport wear on Tuesday and Wednesday. On the day of the activity (Thursday 12) attendance will be taken and evaluated as well.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – The school will celebrate the Honduran Independence Day on Thursday, September 12. Homeroom Teachers were asked to contact their room parents and organize a typical Honduran snack/breakfast with their classrooms with contributions from their students. For a specific breakdown of this day, please find the schedule of activities at the end of this Monday Memo (after the two week calendar). Please make sure you read this information carefully, and follow the schedule so that we have an organized, fun celebration. This is an 11:45 a.m. dismissal day for our students (PM Schedule) and teachers can leave for their (much awaited and deserved) 4-day weekend at 12:30 once all their students have been dismissed.
