PACKING UP YOUR
CLASSROOM: Teachers should not start
packing up their classrooms until after students have finished their school
year. The first week in June has been set aside to give you time to do that
instead of rushing and trying to take care of all of the end-of-year tasks
(packing up, inventory,Curriculum Maps, grading, Ministry documentation) while
the students are still here. Please contact your Area Administrator if you have
any questions.
CURRICULUM MAPS: Teachers need to
update all of their Curriculum Maps before checking out in June. Last year we
only had you prepare the Language Arts Maps, but this year we want to have all
of them updated. More information will be given during the May 1 Professional
Development.
LESSON
PLANS: As we did last year,
teachers need to prepare and turn in lesson plans for the first two weeks of
the new school year as part of the check-out process in June.
